American Idol Top 3 Results Show: Who?s Going To The Finale?

It was a very emotional American Idol results show tonight as we saw the Top 3 head back to their hometowns for a visit. Who was sent home and which two contestants are in the finale? One of my faves made it! Additionally, there were performances from Il Volo and Nicole Scherzinger featuring 50 Cent. An astounding 95 million votes were cast, one for the American Idol record books. Check out my full recap here! The Top 4 headed to Bad Robot Productions to meet JJ Abrams and get a sneak peek at his Super 8 flick. Afterward, he gave each of them an 8 mm movie camera to take and use on their hometown visits. Nice! We first see Haley as she heads to her hometown of Wheeling, Illinois, located about 30 miles outside of Chicago. Unfortunately Mother Nature did not cooperate and it literally rained on her parade, but that didn’t stop the many fans who came out to see their star. She was overcome with emotion, and surprised that her fans endured the downpour just to see her.
