New Render Showcases Apple?s 5th Generation iPad

Some new renders shows us what we could see from the next 5th generation iPad. The new render, developed by artist Martin Hajek was created with a recent spec sheet in mind, as well as other aesthetic influences. The 5th generation iPad is expected to come touting a?2048 x 1536 retina display.

Hajek?s render shows the 5th generation iPad with a design similar to that of the most recent iPad mini, with rounded edges and a lightning connector. The body appears to be thinner and smaller than the 4th generation iPad, but with the same screen size.

Rumors have been pointing to a September release of the 5th generation iPad, alongside the upcoming iPhone 5S.
