While IOS 6 has been in testing for developers for the past few months now, consumers will soon be able to get the update on their devices as well. Announced at the iPhone 5 event, Apple will release the final version of iOS 6 to the masses on September 19th. Touting over 200 new features and an updated interface for the Apple App Store and iTunes, iOS will be available to the following devices:
- iPhone 4S
- iPhone 4
- iPhone 3GS
- The new iPad
- iPad 2
- iPod Touch 4th generation
We've already done our very own iOS 6 preview walkthrough, but we'll be diggin into it a bit more as well once it is available to the masses.
