WASHINGTON, Mo (KMOV)?A 24-year-old St. Charles man was killed in an accident Saturday afternoon.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports Brenda Buerk, 39, of Meaddville, PA, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Impala when she took a curve too quick and went off the road on Highway 21.
Brandon Blankenship, 24, the passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt.
Buerk was taken to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur where she remains in serious condition. She was wearing a seat belt.
